Breaking: Seth Rollins Possibly Re-Injured Knee on RAW, Samoa Joe Responds

The WWE is reporting that former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins may have re-injured his right knee during Monday Night RAW’s closing segment in which he was attacked by Samoa Joe. The WWE stated that Rollins will be evaluated this week:

“Seth Rollins’ right knee was re-injured during Samoa Joe’s ambush at the conclusion of this Monday’s Raw, WWE.com can now confirm. The attack occurred as Rollins was heading to the ring to finally confront Triple H, who cost The Architect a WWE Universal Championship opportunity back in August.”

Rollins tore his ACL, MCL, and medical meniscus in his right knee during a match with Kane at a WWE Live Event in November of 2015, forcing hip to miss 6 months of action and vacate his then-WWE World Heavyweight Title.
Samoa Joe took to Twitter to post the following regarding Rollins’ injury:

Update #1: PWInsider is reporting that Rollins’ injury is not storyline related, and he is currently in Birmingham, Alabama to get his knee examined. If Rollins’ knee is in fact re-injured then he will most likely be removed from his scheduled match with Triple H at Wrestlemania in Orlando this April.
