– Ariel Helwani spoke with UFC President Dana White and asked him about McMahon’s recent comments on UFC’s ratings. Here’s an excerpt:

“Vince keeps talking shit about us. I don’t know why. There’s a lot of things I could say about the WWE but I would never. I don’t know why he’s trying to kick us in the balls. I like Vince. I have a good relationship with Vince… I think it’s in his nature… as a competitor, as a human-being, it’s the way Vince is built. You know, whatever.”

Dana talks about McMahon’s comments at the 3:44 mark in the video embedded below.

  • Craig

Vince was not bashing the UFC when he brought up ratings. What Vince said about the ratings the UFC receives on Fox and FX was factual. No reason to read to much else into it.

  • D1

Yes Shawn you did miss something. Vince has spoke negatively about UFC’s ratings lately for The Ultimate Fighter. Vince has never bashed UFC exactly but even when he’s “complimented” it, he has done so in a semi condescending way.

  • Shawn

Vince has been very respectful of UFC. What the hell is Dana talking about? The last quotes about UFC I heard Vince say was something to the effect that WWE was entertainment and should be compared to scripted television and movies and UFC was a real sport and should be compared to other competitive sports. What’s wrong with that? Is there a jab in there I’m missing? If anything, that should be seen as a compliment to Dana and the UFC. It IS a sport. WWE is NOT sport, but an entertainment show. Dana is really touchy, I guess. Surprising, considering he’s supposed to be a “tough guy”.

  • Matt

sounds like a nothing that vince always says and dana knows vince always says but you copy/paste this shit between all the dirt sites and its suddenly a big thing..

  • KingAlbert

So what has Vince been saying? Seems like Dana isn’t too worried about it…
