UPDATE: The UFC confirmed during the UFC 199 PPV event on Saturday that Lesnar would be fighting at UFC 200. His opponent will be announced on Monday on ESPN’s SportsCenter.
ORIGINAL: Brock Lesnar is reportedly in serious talks with the UFC about fighting at UFC 200, according to Ariel Helwani of MMA Fighting.
It’s being reported that both sides are close to finalizing a deal. The UFC has yet to find an opponent for Lesnar, which could be difficult since the event takes place on July 9th.
Lesnar went 5-3 in his pro-MMA career and was a huge PPV draw for the promotion. Lesnar last fought in 2011 and lost to Alistar Overeem at UFC 141 by first round TKO.
