Charlotte Flair talks being booed and her rivalry with Becky Lynch

Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch have been involved in one of the most intense rivalries in quite some time. And now, we’ll get to see the culmination of their feud in the main roster’s first-ever Last Woman Standing match.

Charlotte will face Becky Lynch at WWE Evolution for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship in what will probably be her last chance at the belt for quite some time. The Queen recently appeared on Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia to discuss her feud with Becky Lynch, including having to adjust to the reaction she’s received since SummerSlam.

On being involved in a highly competitive rivalry on SD Live:

Anytime you can find yourself in a meaningful storyline, you run with it. It’s the first time in a while for me that…I have been in so many great storylines…but I think the fans are really sinking their teeth in this one.

It’s exciting. It feels fresh and new. Even though Becky Lynch and I have had the opportunity to wrestle each other, this time the dynamic is different, which makes it even more exciting.

On crowds booing her even though she’s a babyface:

Honestly, if I wasn’t getting a reaction then there would be a problem. Whether I’m getting cheered or booed, you’re here to make the audience react. That’s how I look at it. I don’t look at it as negative. I look at it as the fans are invested in the story.

You can listen to the rest of Charlotte’s episode of Chasing Glory here.

The reaction Charlotte Flair has to being booed is an all too familiar answer to hear. After all, we’ve heard Roman Reigns make the same remarks when it comes to getting a negative reaction. Is the Queen going down the road of the Big Dog?
