Charlotte Reacts to Losing RAW Women’s Title, Mick Foley Also Reacts, John Cena Taking Another WWE Hiatus?

– Charlotte Flair took to Twitter earlier today to react to losing the RAW Women’s Title to Sasha Banks at last night’s (Monday November 28, 2016) Monday Night RAW:

– Mick Foley also responded to the epic Falls Count Anywhere match between the two women to close out RAW:

– John Cena is currently filming the second season of FOX’s American Grit, and is not expected to return to WWE action until the end of December as he is scheduled for SmackDown live events through January. According to a report from Variety, Cena is now expected to co-star in Kay Cannon’s directorial debut, The Pac, alongside Leslie Mann and Ike Barinholtz. The film is described as “three parents who, upon discovering that their daughters have made a pact to lose their virginities on prom night, go out and try and stop them before it’s too late.”

Don’t get me wrong – I’m not knocking Cena or his work ethic, but it’s the back and forth that becomes annoying. I can’t remember when his last match was, and now he’s going to be gone even longer. Regardless, there’s no way he comes back with a reworked gimmick – he’s pretty-much permanently “Super” Cena, and that’s the way it’ll remain. No “Hollywood” Hogan-esque change for him.

To be fair, John Cena has gone like 100 years without taking a non-injury break. He’s earned the right to take some time off and it’s better for everyone involved.

What he does need to do is take this down time to re-evaluate his character. He doesn’t need to go heel, but his gimmick needs a serious overhaul because he’s starting to look like he’s standing still next to everyone else. Smackdown has always been a more-progressive show than RAW.

    Two things:
    1) That Sasha/Charlotte match was FIRE. Now, we’ll see if Sasha actually gets to keep the belt past the next PPV, because really…
    2) Is it my imagination, or has Cena become that which he railed on the Rock about?
