- TNA Wrestling President Dixie Carter announced Friday that Chris Sabin tore his left ACL on Thursday’s Impact Wrestling.

“Chris Sabin tore his ACL in last night’s Ultimate X match on Impact,” Carter wrote. “He’s obviously frustrated but determined to come back ASAP.”

The injury occurred when he landed outside the ring. He immediately held his knee in pain and did ceased further involvement with the match. He returned to action in March following eleven months of inactivity due tears in his ACL and MCL on his right knee.

– Jay Bradley, who competed as Ryan Braddock for WWE in 2008 and 2009, lost to Magnus in a dark match before Thursday’s live Impact Wrestling.

In a match taped for TNA Xplosion, Devon defended the TNA Television Championship against Robbie E.

Damn, get well dude. HAIL SABIN!

  • rko

The good news out of this is velvet still does all the work when he bones her. Nothing better for a man to sit back and watch a bitch work it.

  • hjkhjk

Damn Sabin. I think it’s time to retire. Poor guy.

  • ant

this sucks with destination x right around the corner

  • poko

That’s awful. I hope he can bounce back. Still, this isn’t uncommon with limb injuries. Athletes tend to overcompensate for perceived structural weaknesses by placing too much stress on the “good” arm or leg.

I hope someone is keeping an eye on him, consecutive serious injuries are often accompanied by bouts of depression.

@blah. “he’ll have to slow down” perfectly ready for WWE then?

  • blah

@ChrisDV meaning both his knees are bum. It will if nothing else definately reduce is in ring abilitiesas hell have to slow down

No, he’s torn his left ACL. It was the right one last time.

  • Pissed Off Fan =(

Damn does that mean his career can be over? I hope not but thats the second time he tears his ACL so thats bad, real bad

  • nick

Yeah and he came in and told A double that he was hurt and they finished the match without him. I knew he was hurt by the way he landed and was limping to tell aries.

  • misfit del rio

No, he looked real hurt, he did a plancha on blue, and right away grasped his knee, unless he pulled a beth phoenix and then I would say bravo. But it looked legitamite to me.

  • tim

Do we believe this? Or are they writing him off tv for contract reasons/Shelley/WWE?
