– Although WWE has billed Money in the Bank as CM Punk’s final appearance for the organization, he is among those advertised for tomorrow’s Monday Night Raw in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

He is not advertised for shows after Monday.

The Chicago Tribune has posted an article regarding WWE star sightings this weekend in Chicago, Illinois. The article features a photo of John Cena posing for a photo with fans at O’Hare International Airport and notes that his Money in the Bank opponent CM Punk threw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Friday’s Chicago Cubs game at Wrigley Field. The story also notes that Mark Henry, Darren Young, Titus O’Neil and Eden Stiles were seen dining at The Fifty/50 on Saturday.

devil did you not read my point? Eddie, y2j were top draw and had the ability to pull the waggon on their own. Their charisma put the size difference to one side and putting reality to one side(isnt that the whole idea of watching?) you want to have to have fun watching and thinking ‘whats gonna happen’ cm punk doesnt bring that to the party in my book.midcard at best. Devil are you american? Tell of do you have a passport and have you ever seen the sea?

    @Villa Foley

You’re a moron. Even if we were to believe Wrestling is real, REY MYSTERIO won the World title twice. There IS not “heavyweight division anymore”, because they got rid of the CRUISERWEIGHT division, genius.

Regardless, CM Punk is actually a GREAT wrestler, and you’d know that if you’d ever bothered really watching his matches (such as tonight’s main event). Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, yup….guess they were all “too small” too, eh? Give me a break.

  • M.O.P.

Are you serious villa? have you not seen Jericho or Eddie(RIP) upclose? they dont look like feather weights, especially when Jericho won the undisupted title in ’02, started pumping the roids abit i assume

  • Stumpy

Punk wins MITB and takes it home. He shows up on Raw and as he is giving his speech about leaving, Vince sends a few different wrestlers to the ring to beat the holy hell out of him and then the Raw MITB winner(ADR I assume) runs down and cashes in the briefcase in a similar situation to when Punk beat Edge for the title after Batista beat the hell out of Edge before he left Raw.

  • White mark

I have to say if this was 04 or 05 Punk could hang with Jericho and Guerrero. Its just the wwe has a certain moveset you can do these days.

  • villa foley

oi dum dum you miss the point. The idea of the storylines are for them to be believable, hence why they used to have a cruiserweight division.also vince is always quoted that he wants matches to be believable. If you had your way i bet you would put hornswoggle in the main event for the belt

  • Marky Mark

Too small for the Heavy Weight Division? It’s wrestling, you stupid mark. Not Boxing or MMA.

  • V-R-A

He’s not even leaving, bet anything the contract he ripped up was the contract Vince had writen up and that he signed Punks keeping him in the WWE.

  • Villa Foley

He wont be gone for long ! I wish he would be though. Not a fan his childish parade in the ring will not be missed. He should be a childrens party entertainer. He is too small for the heavy weight division, before anyone comments on others like Y2J or Eddie were the same size, I agree they were but they had better in ring ability and charisma and told the story far better. CM PUNK is nothing more than a decent talker but a BIG PINK ELEPHANT performer in the ring

I guess tomorrow will be for his farewell speech or that he resigned.
