- CM Punk issued the following statement on Twitter last night after TLC:

“Very proud right now. Proud of @WWEDanielBryan proud of @ZackRyder proud of my crew of young, talented hard workers. @findevan @TrueKofi …and a ton of others. Tonight was a great step toward the future of the wrestling business. That change I’ve been talking about? Started.

My march to Wrestlemania doesn’t begin after the rumble. It’s starts today. You’re in or you’re out. If you’re out, you’ll be left behind.”

– John Cena was backstage at WWE’s TLC pay-per-view but not used because of a decision by the creative team. It was decided that it was time to let other talents be focused on. Cena and Kane’s feud will pick up on tonight’s RAW.

^^^^ Yeah I knew that, just playing along. Good debate dude, enjoyed it.

  • Tombstone

Yeah I knew that, just had to play along with it. Cool debate dude. enjoyed it. Done with this topic now.

  • The Killswitch

Bob the intern: an imaginary character I devised to prove a point. Thanks for catching on.

  • Tombstonepiledriver

^^^ Who the hell is Bob the inten? Next you will be talking about Carl the doorstop. Nope, While I do see some difference it dang sure aint 10x. And there is still along way to go. I never said Punk had nothing to do with it, I said he is not responsible for it all. and it seems to me that is what he would have us beleive. As I said a 100 times before, I do like punk, I think he couls be just what WWE needs. I also beleive he could ruin it all by getting to cocky and full of himself. I still also stand by the fact that Punk nor anyone else in WWE could do anything without the ok from Vince.

  • The Killswitch

The WWE before Punk’s worked shoot is 10x different than after he won the WWE title. Think about that. You can put the credibility on whoever you want. You can put it on Bob the intern on Vince’s creative team. But Punk has, as he said, the balls to say what nobody else has the balls to say. Not only that, but he took the initiative to get over and make the WWE take notice of things that needed to be fixed for years. Yes, including that rubbish WWE title. Did Bob the intern do anything like that?

  • Tombstonepiledriver

    @The Killswitch
Whether you know it or not you just illustrated my point perfectly. Vince has the whole team working on it not just Punk.

    I rest my case.

  • The Killswitch

Punk’s promo wasn’t scripted. That’s the thing. He just had enough common sense to know what he could and couldn’t say. And just because Vince has the final say, it doesn’t mean he hasn’t been influenced by the voices of reason, those who present new, fresh ideas. It’s still his company, but he’s got a whole team working to come up with ideas to better the company. Guys like Punk and HHH are examples.

  • Tombstonepiledriver

    @The Killswitch
First let me start by saying again just as I have done many times, I do like CM Punk. I just honestly think he is starting to get a little to full of himself.
Do you honestly think for one minute that anything would change without Vince’s ok? Do you think Punks promo’s would have aired without Vince’s ok? And do you think Vince is intimidated by Punk? Well the answer to all of these is one big HELL NO.
As for freakyzilla-Hell he cant even come up with his own insults anymore so I will not even bother posting a reply to him.

  • Freakzilla

Stop crying you whiny bitch TombstonePiledriver aka Brutus Beefcake, first you’ve been outed by Linda and now your ticket to little children Cena is off the card. Wah wah wah, where will you get your sexual thrills you sice perverted fuck. Why you comment on a wrestling site when you wrestling knowledge is farcial is beyond me. Merry Christmas douche bag and Leave those kids alone.

  • Tommy

His crew is the roh crew!!! Tyler black and Darren angrier are part of that too

  • CM Prick

The light heavyweights own the championship division. It’s a beautiful thing.

  • Bill

The CM Punk era has begun!!!!

  • The Killswitch

@Tombstonepiledrive So you would rather the WWE maintain the status quo of the boring old dynamic superman duo of Cena and Orton winning the titles every month? At least Punk is advocating something that gives the ball to the younger talent. If he brags about it, so what? He took the initiative to say, “look, there are a lot of things we need to do to improve this product.” And because of that, the tag division is shaping up again. Ryder got his title shot. Danial Bryan won MITB. Orton is taking the backseat and feuding with Barrett, who has gained tons of momentum as of late.

Granted, it’s hard to determine how much of these events are credited to Punk, but he was THE guy of this past Summer, making edgier promos and publicly calling out Vince for not giving Gallows, Cabana, etc. the opportunities they deserve. And for that, he can be allowed to brag a little.

  • z

RAW IS TO BE CRAZY LIKE HELL!

  • The Real Joe. remember that storyline?

Ever think by saying my crew he is simply meaning the people he hangs out with?

  • Tombstonepiledriver

@Omar—You did not get what I was saying, I dont care whether HHH, Cena , etc has vinces ear they are not the ones talking about “My Crew” And “My Changes”. They may well have Vinces ear but they are not publicly bragging about it.

  • VenomEX

makes it sound like punk is forming a new cliq

  • RAMSES 2

MAN IT WAS A BAD PPV, BUT IT FELT COLD BRIS IN ACAPULCO NOT HAVING CENA THERE.

  • Omar

@Tombstonepiledriver: You didnt get what Fred was saying. Though CMPunk doesnt RUN the show, he has the ear of the person that runs the show. Just like HHH, Cena, HBK and Orton have in the past.

  • JIR

There have been a handful of RAWs and PPV that keep my hope in wrestling alive like the PPV last night hope tonights RAW keeps the momentum going

  • Tombstonepiledriver

@Fred who the hell even mentioned HHH, Cena, HBK or Orton? This whole thing is about Punk saying he is bringing change (like he alone is doing it all, Maybe we should start calling him Barrack.) and saying his crew (like they work for him and he writes thier checks?)

  • Fred

@ Tombstonepiledriver Yeah, because Triple H, HBK, Cena, Orton, were/are never in Vince’s ear. *eyeroll*

  • Tyler(:

    Couldn’t agree more Tombstone.

  • Dave S

Wow a WWE PPV with out Cena or Orton in the main event.

  • Tombstonepiledriver

So it’s Punks crew? Little bit full of himself aint he? And He’s the one bringing us change? Guess now he thinks he is Obama. I like Punk but nothing changes unless Vince says so and they are all Vince’s crew.

  • donners

    no!! dammit!!

i was hoping that they were starting to at least plant the seeds, not for a full cena heel turn, but for him to at least take on the role of the heel for the rock WM match. ain’t gonna happen now.

kane’ll be billed as the monster (obviously), and cena will be the big hero trying to stop him.

unless they do an angle where kane injures cena (fingers crossed), this’ll just be a stop-gap to get cena to the rumble where they can continue the stuff with the rock.

they f*ck everything up. even when it hasn’t even started yet!!

No wonder it was such a good PPV Cena wasnt there, meaning neither were the little jimmys
