- The CW Network were the ones who originally approached WWE about doing the new Saturday Morning Slam. The show is going to run for 30 minutes and only feature one match a week, as well as wrestler profiles and some behind-the-scenes footage.
CW Network and WWE are hoping to capitalize on research data that show children, including a healthy contingent of boys younger than 12, make up 22% of the audience for the wrestling group’s core franchises.
- WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross announced on Twitter Thursday night that CM Punk will be appearing at the next WWE NXT TV tapings in two weeks at Full Sail University.
