- We will have more details this morning but CM Punk is reportedly done with WWE after informing officials at RAW on Monday that he was “going home.” Punk has been pulled from all WWE events going forward.

You know the thing Punk is crying about this time next year or maybe in 2 years when he is healthy and ready for a return to the WWE he be doing the same thing he is crying about right now. You know the Undertaker said this to Bret Hart one day that sometimes it not about you it is about the wrestling business. Now I don’t like Batista vs Randy Orton for the WWE/World title at Wrestlmania think something going to happen between now and Wrestlmania that not going to be the Main Event. But back to Punk to me it really didn’t make much sense with the whole HHH vs Punk at Wrestlmania since the bigger and better match would be HHH vs Bryan. I mean this is a feud that has been building since Summerslam. But also Bryan could still be in the WWE/World title picture could end up a triple threat and HHH not wrestle at all this Wrestlmania. But to me Punk leaving the WWE not a big deal anymore it was the last time he tried to leave because of the huge shoot he did in Las Vegas. But somewhere along the line to me he is a good wrestler and had the longest rating WWE title run in a long time. But it did get boring and to me Daniel Bryan is proving to be a much easier wrestler to work with because Bryan not crying he just keeps on going. I think that why WWE has grown to love Bryan and say heck not a big lost in losing Punk anymore. But like I said a year and maybe 2 from now when Punk ready for a return he be doing the same thing he is crying about now.

That’s very true, but the thing is I don’t think he loves doing it anymore, he just had the one goal of main eventing mania and now that he knows he wont be, and with his contract expiring in a few months I just think he was done with it all. Maybe not the best reason to just walk out on your job, but I think that’s one of the biggest reasons he did.

Great post, I agree with you. I can understand why is so upset, but he needs to realize that quitting is not the answer. It did not help Stone Cold, nor will help him. He should be thankful he gets to do a job that he loves.

That I couldn’t agree more with.

  • The Killswitch

I think he meant to say “either way, this is a shocker.” Which it is. And it’s going to be huge news for a while.

I’m honestly growing tired of Punks attitude myself, But I will say this only once and I wont get into a long drawn out war with u over it, agree or disagree with me. But in his defense I think it really eats away at him that in his mind, and in the minds of a lot of the fans and his peers, he really is the best in the world (I don’t quite see him as that, but he’s certainly in the conversation.), and he’s given his whole adult life to be as great as he is at ever facet of being a professional wrestler. Yet even with all that, all the hard work, all the yrs on the independents learning the craft the right way, putting in great if not the best performances night after night, yr after yr, its nvr going to pay off in the way he believes it should, and right or wrong that’s gotta crush him on a lot of levels. He’s stated before he’s a very goal driven person, and his last real goal was to close out WrestleMania, and I think with the whole Batista coming back and leap frogging him and Bryan who is way more over then punk is, and Batista for that matter, and with WWEs obvious plans to try and groom Roman as the guy to take the Cena throne, its just become painfully obvious to him that he will nvr reach that goal, and to a guy like punk its better to just walk away then sit back and become the # 4 or 5 guy in the company just because he isn’t 2in taller and jacked to gills. I’m not saying that’s the greatest attitude in life to have, but in a way I do respect him for that, because he believes in himself and he believes he has proven he can be the top guy, but because he doesn’t have the wwe main eventer look none of that matters, so he has enough respect for himself and all the hard work he has put into the wwe to say if your not going to use me the way I feel iv earned the right to be used then I can walk away, iv earned more then enough money to be financially independent for the rest of my life, and if your not going to reward me for my hard work and yrs of sacrifice I don’t need you and I can walk away with my head held high knowing I stayed true to myself. Is his view on his own worth higher then it should be, probably, but in the business he is in it almost has to be, you have to truly believe your the best, and that you should be the top guy because if you don’t someone else who does will blow right past you, and I think Chris Jericho said it best when he said in there industry you have to be a bit of an A hole to succeed at the level punk has. So again even though I don’t always agree with punks sourpuss attitude and demeanor, I can understand his frustration of knowing that no matter what he does it’ll nvr be rewarded or appreciated in the way it should, or in the way it would be if he were 2in taller and jacked, and nether will Bryan, or Ziggler, or pick a wrestler who has all the tools to be a top guy but isn’t at least 6’3″ and jacked up, and that does really suck for him and those guys who know they can carry the ball but wont be given the chance because of wwes dated and pathetic obsession with big, muscular guys. Sry for the long post, just wanted to get out a different point of view on the situation, and play a little devils advocate for punks side of things lol.

All he does is cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry…….. and cry and cry. He needs to grow up, be a man, and do the job he is getting paid to do.

Let me guess. When you go to the casino, you don’t put your chips on all the roulette numbers? Pssht. Idiot.

  • d_pooch

Hmm, it’s not on WWE’s website yet, so this can’t be good.

  • millerj265

Way to hedge your bets, it either is a work or isn’t, what an earth shattering prediction.

  • Andrew

WORK. Or it isn’t. Either way.
