CM Punk To Retire In 2015?, Update On WWE TV Tapings in December, Birthdays

– WWE Champion CM Punk appears to be eyeing retirement.

After noting Sunday night via Twitter that he plans to watch the latest episode of AMC drama program The Walking Dead when he gets home “in 2015,” a fan responded, “@CMPunk you just started a rumor that you’re retiring in 2015.”

The WWE Superstar replied, “Ain’t a rumor if its true.”

– The official WWE website is now listing an event scheduled for Tuesday, December 18 at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as a Raw and SmackDown television taping.

According to PWInsider.com, the previous day’s Raw event (location not yet announced), will likely be a duel-brand taping as well.

– In today’s birthdays, Joey Abs of Mean Street Posse fame turns 41-years-old, Japanese wrestling standout Takeshi Morishima turns 34, and Jeff Gaylord turns 53. Gaylord is currently serving time in prison in connection with a bank robberies in Colorado. In 2009, he was sentenced to six years in prison.

– The late Brian Pillman is featured in today’s “Superstar Spotlight” on WWE.com.
