– Friday’s WWE SmackDown scored a 1.89 cable rating with 2.728 million viewers. This is down from the previous week which did a 1.91 rating with 2.783 million viewers.
– WWE announced at last night’s RAW from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas that they will be returning to the venue on February 25th, 2013 for another Monday Night RAW.
– Mike Buda of SportstownChicago.com interviewed WWE Champion CM Punk while he was at the Chicago Comic-Con this past weekend. Punk talks about The Rock getting a WWE Title shot, changes in WWE and lots more.
“I think it’s fantastic since he’s getting a title shot against me if I last that long,” Punk said about The Rock. “It’s nice to be vocally against somebody who’s just being handed things and then being the roadblock. Obviously, I was very vocal about Dwayne just marching in and getting to cherry-pick what days he shows up, and when he actually wants to be motivated to work, and now he’s going to be in the ring with me. There’s no bringing 30 percent, there’s no days off. It’s me, it’s 100 percent me and it’s going to be a challenge for Dwayne.”
