Conor McGregor to appear at WrestleMania?

Conor McGregor has had some unpleasant experiences on Twitter when it comes to professional wrestling. Back in 2016, the Notorious One pissed off pretty much the entire wrestling community when he bashed the WWE roster, along with CM Punk who, at the time, was training for his UFC debut.

I have thought about WWE. For the most part, I think these guys are pussies, to be honest. They’re messed up pussies if you ask me. Fair play to Brock; he got in and fought, but at the end of the day, he was juiced up to the fucking eyeballs. How can I respect that? The other guy [CM Punk] hasn’t fought yet, so I don’t know about him.

A handful of wrestlers, WWE talent and no, tore McGregor apart over the next month. So to say McGregor has a rough relationship with the world of professional wrestling is an understatement. However, it appears that the UFC Lightweight Champion will not only be in attendance for WrestleMania but will possibly be involved with the show in some way.

Oddsmaker George Elek stated that McGregor is more than likely going to be involved in a segment at the Showcase of the Immortals. Via The Chair Shot:

As with any WrestleMania, one of the biggest talking points is what celebrities and sports stars will turn up on the night. One of the more vocal celebrities rumoured to be in attendance is the Notorious Conor McGregor – and if bookies are correct – he could well be appearing on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Bookies have priced up McGregor as 7/4 to appear at the event, which for reference is the same price Manchester City were to win the Premier League this season.

So it seems like McGregor may be involved with a WWE superstar at WrestleMania. What would you like to see McGregor do on April 8th?
