As we reported before, Triple H announced that the winner of Inaugural Mae Young Classic Tournament Kairi Sane will challenge for the NXT Women’s Championship at the upcoming Takeover event.
However, the game hadn’t revealed the opponent for Sane which left people wondering who could face the Japanese wrestling star in the championship bout.
During the latest NXT tapings, it was revealed that the Championship match at Takeover: Houston will be a fatal four-way match instead of a one on one bout.
After the announcement, they held a couple of qualifying matches to determine the participants for the fatal four way in which Peyton Royce and Ember Moon came out victorious.
There is still one more spot left for the bout, though till now it’s not known who will become the fourth and final participant to receive a title shot at the upcoming event.
