Could we see Shawn Michaels return to in-ring competition this year?

Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker took part in a segment on Monday Night Raw in which HBK claimed the reason he hadn’t come out of retirement was because of his respect to the Deadman. With Taker essentially calling him out before addressing his match with Triple H at WWE Super Show-Down, fans and news sites have been wondering whether or not we could see the Icon return for one more match.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the plan is for Michaels to return at WWE’s next event in Saudi Arabia on November 2nd. Apparently, the company tried to bring Michaels on for the Greatest Royal Rumble.

At this moment, Michaels isn’t scheduled for a singles match, and will more than likely wrestle in a tag team match with Triple H against The Undertaker and an unknown opponent.

Do you want to see Shawn Michaels wrestle one more match? Sound off in the comments.

HBK could shock the world and be just as agile and explosive in the ring as they used to be. That would be an amazing comeback. But I feel like it’s unlikely. HBK looks tired, aged, and winded just by coming down the ramp and hopping in the ring. I cannot see that man doing a tumble, I can’t see him doing that high kick anymore I definitely can’t see him on the ropes. Undertaker tends to look tired these days. But HBK will look run down and old. I think HBK returning to the ring would be a bad idea and it would ruin the Marvel of what he is already done. I don’t want to have to close my eyes and embarrassment during the match. I think out of the three Triple H is in the best in ring shape

As much as i respect Shawn the guy should stay retired true to his word, dont end up like a ric flair or terry funk

If Braun Strowman is not Unverlasial Champion by WM 35. They may make Braun Strowman the one who retires the Undertaker.

All signs point to “Wrestlemania”… hopefully sooner.

If he has another match it won’t be as good as his last. He needs to stay retired.

When I seen them both on tv at the same time I thought WWE was going to make a match between the 2 of them but all they did was talk.

Dude has been a trainer he can go he in that ring teaching them over at NXT he can go but I think it be better if they brought in Sting he says he thinks him and taker could put on a good show

Doubt it. If he wrestles again at all i would think he’d want to do it at a wrestlemania. And probably would want to make sure the script says he would win. lol

This finally does appear to be Taker’s last year wrestling. He did the arab show, he did MSG, he’s doing the Australia show. This is the Undertake retirement tour. He did one last casket match, one last match against Triple H, he’ll likely do one last match against HBK, one last match against Kane, all leading up to a career vs career match against Cena at Mania.

i’am a fan of him but he should stay retired

What I would have liked to have seen is basically Taker getting underneath HBK’s skin after their encounter on this past weeks Raw, and then HBK screw Taker over in Australia, thus setting up for one last match at WM in 2019. Would have been a lot more epic of Taker’s streak hadn’t already ended and then HBK finally becomes the one to end it and lay Taker to rest, thus letting them both finally retire.

Only trouble with this is, I’m sure HBK could probably still go. Taker? Judging by his last few matches, not so much… Would it tarnish their last two Mania matches? Is this match even necessary? I don’t know.

He not going to do a come back in the ring. He hasn’t train for in ring return since WM 26. He very happy with retirement.
