Possible reason Crown Jewel was moved to smaller venue

We noted before how the highly anticipated Crown Jewel PPV which was originally expected to take place from King Fahd stadium has now been moved to King Saud University Stadium.

The new stadium is much smaller to the older venue and according to the data; the University Stadium can hold 25,000 people while the older venue’s listed capacity was just under 70,000.

While no official statement has been made a report states that the reason for this change is some construction work in King Fahd stadium and two football matches have been moved from their recently for the same as well.

So far there are only 2 matches which have officially been announced for the Crown Jewel PPV, including the WWE Championship match between AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan and the Triple Threat for the Universal Championship among Braun Strowman, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.
