The finish of the first ever Women’s Money In The Bank match came as a shock for the majority of WWE fans, as many expected Carmella to win but not in the manner she did.
After the match, the commissioner of SmackDown Live Shane McMahon made a tweet and expressed his feelings towards the unexpected finish, stating that James Ellsworth robbed the WWE Universe:
This is not what I had envisioned for the FIRST EVER Women’s #MITB match. @realellsworth and @CarmellaWWE just robbed the #WWE Universe.

Soon enough after this, The SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan also expressed his unhappiness with the situation and said that it will be the first thing he’ll address this Tuesday on SmackDown Live:
Absolutely unacceptable and cheap. The circumstances surrounding the Women’s #MITB match will be the FIRST thing addressed on #SDLive.

Now it’d be interesting how things will play out when the SmackDown General Manager will come face to face with the first ever Ms Money In The Bank Carmella this Tuesday.
