Daniel Bryan on how likely WWE is to let him wrestle

Daniel Bryan

It’s been a topic of debate for a long time on whether or not WWE would let Daniel Bryan wrestle under their banner if he is medically cleared to compete.

In a recent interview, Bryan himself had explained the difficulties the company would face in allowing him to return to action and now he has given us a percentage of how likely this is to happen.

During a recent interview with Busted Open at WWE Night at the New Jersey Devils game, the SmackDown General Manager said that there is a 20% chance that WWE will allow him to wrestle again:

“I think there is an 85% chance that I will wrestle again, my wife says it’s 100%,” Bryan said. “That’s not the case, if I get a test that says I shouldn’t wrestle again, then I won’t wrestle again. So I think there is an 85% chance that I will wrestle again. I would say that there is about a 20% chance that WWE will clear me to wrestle. It’s a small chance, but it’s not an impossible chance.”

At this point, it’s only safe to say that anything can happen in future, but we certainly hope that the company would find a way to let Daniel wrestle inside their ring once he is completely healthy.

I’m sorry but if wwe did not put his body though such hell leading up to that wrestlemania he would not have been in as bad a shape that he is. The abuses him leading up to it!

It sad because he was at his peak in the WWE. Oh I would love to see Bryan vs Angle right now.

the passion of the sport. there are a select few great athletes in this world who even after having a calamity hit them, refuse to let the incident stop them from doing the sport they love. the best example is a beautiful woman named Bethany Hamilton. Halloween 2003, she lost 60+ % of her blood when a shark bit her left arm off. 1 month later, she got back on the board. in 2004 and 2005 she won the national scholastic surfing association competition.

it all boils down to one thing for great fearless athletes like Daniel Bryan and Bethany Hamilton: Passion.

Bethany is now married with a son named Tobias and a second child on the way. she still surfs because it is a part of her. she will do it until she truly can’t.

Personally I would love to see him wrestle again, but the risk is too great at this point. He has a family to worry about now. Why risk losing all of that to fake wrestle again?
