During yesterday’s edition of Talking Smack WWE SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan and Intercontinental Champion The Miz got into a heated exchange. Miz came out to the show to complain about not being on SmackDown that night even though he is the Intercontinental champ. He then said the Intercontinental title was the last one that Bryan had held, and he wants to make it relevant again.
Bryan said he respects the Intercontinental title, however, he doesn’t respect The Miz because he and the fans don’t like his cowardly way of wrestling. He said if he was on the indy scene and was asked to create the perfect ‘soft’ WWE talent, that it would be The Miz.
The Miz then said he wrestles the way he does because it improves the longevity of his career, and also noted he has never suffered an injury in the ring. He then hit Bryan with the fact that he said he’d be back for the Intercontinental title, but never returned. Bryan said he would come back if the WWE allowed him, but Miz interjected by saying that if Bryan loves wrestling so much then he should quit and go to ‘the bingo halls’.
Bryan then stormed off set as Miz proclaimed that he wasn’t a coward and that Bryan was the real coward.
