Daniel Bryan finally gets a chance to shut The Miz up this Sunday when the two rivals go head to head at Summerslam. However, what he’ll do after the Biggest Party of the Summer has remained a bit of a mystery, as Bryan has yet to re-sign with the WWE.
It’s been rumored that Bryan and the WWE had come to an agreement earlier in the summer, but nothing official was ever revealed. However, Bryan revealed on the latest episode of the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast this week, all but confirming he’s going to stick with the WWE.
I think, at this point, it’s 90 plus percent… I’ll say it’s likely I’ll sign with WWE. The reality is that iss the probability. I have not re-signed yet, but it could happen as soon as the end of the week or it could be a couple more weeks. It’s very likely.
Bryan also said that he doesn’t want to wrestle a full schedule, and appreciates the one he’s been given by the WWE since his in-ring return.
