After delivering arguably the best match on the WrestleMania 35 card, the former holder of the WWE Championship the “new” Daniel Bryan was absent from the recently concluded SmackDown.
Apparently, it seems that injury is the reason behind Bryan’s absence. Dave Meltzer hinted that the former Money In The Bank winner might be injured. He claimed:
“Daniel Bryan might be injured, I’m not sure,” Dave Meltzer said. “From what I understand, I don’t know if he was waiting to be examined but coming out of WrestleMania there was a possible injury to him, is all I heard.”
Daniel Bryan was just one of the few names who missed the episode of the blue brand with the other names being Mandy Rose, The Miz, Randy Orton and AJ Styles, the latter reportedly headed home owing to injury after the culmination of the WrestleMania week.
