- In a TV interview this morning, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan played up the fan support for his character and their role in elevating his character and forcing WWE to give him a title run:
“I wasn’t somebody they wanted to push. I mean, look at me. I’m not so marketable. But, the people voiced their opinions and started cheering and made it where they couldn’t not put me in the main spot.”
Bryan also spoke about his offensive attack being more around strikes and agility, rather than “lifting people” like Hulk Hogan.
