The American Dragon will be sticking with the WWE for the next few years it seems. According to the Pro Wrestling Sheet and The Wrestling Observer, Daniel Bryan has signed a multi-year deal with the company.
Bryan and the WWE had been negotiating for months, but the former Smackdown Live GM revealed in multiple interviews that he planned on re-signing with the WWE. Between the talent that’s within the company and being able to work near his wife, it seemed like a no-brainer.
When it was announced that Bryan’s career would also be the focal point of the showcase mode in WWE 2K19, most believed that it was a guarantee the former WWE Champion and the WWE would agree on a new deal.
Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer revealed in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Bryan had indeed signed a new deal. While the WWE hasn’t officially confirmed the report, the Pro Wrestling Sheet confirmed it with multiple sources, revealing that Bryan signed a multi-year contract.
With Daniel Bryan finally coming to terms on a new deal, will we finally see him return to the WWE Title picture? He’ll get his chance at WWE Super Show-Down when he faces The Miz to determine the #1 Contender to the championship.
