We noted before how former Nexus member Darren Young was cleared to return earlier last month after his injury but at that time it wasn’t known when or where he will make his in ring return.
The former Tag Team Champion finally made his return this past week during a WWE Live Event from Wichita, Kansas where he took part in a Battle Royal to determine the #1 contender for The Miz’s Intercontinental Championship.
During the match, Young eliminated his former partner Titus O’Neil, though he didn’t stay in the bout for long and was eliminated by Apollo Crews.
The Battle Royal was ultimately won by Jason Jordan who went on to challenge the Miz for the IC title later in the night but was unsuccessful in his quest.
Darren Young suffered an arm injury back in January when he was competing in a Tag Team match against The Colons during an episode of WWE Main Event.
