The thing is I don’t recall any stories of Cena being a jerk to fans. Most wrestlers aren’t.But even before Punk’s stock shot up in 2011 he was notorious for being miserable to fans. So no you can’t blame people hating him for being successful. I was hearing these stories back when he was a mid carder in ECW back in 2006/2007 when no one cared about him. I’m sorry if you’re a fan of his but simply put the man is an a—–e. Plain and simple.

Why is it that the likes of Cena, Bryan, HHH, etc can all hold their tongues and be good sports to the fans that have made them rich but CM Punk is for reason above that and can insult or even in that one case attack fans? What makes him more special than everyone else? He’s FAR from being the biggest star ever in wrestling. He’s not even the biggest star in wrestling now. So what’s with the attitude?

CM Punk, yet again, proving what a classy guy he is. Yelling at a fan in front of her mother for a pretty standard request for a famous wrestler. Way to promote the “Be A Star” campaign. I really hope this jerk mouths off the wrong person one day and gets humbled.

Punk has had a lot of issues with fans in the past. But so has many other wrestlers… Y2J for example.
Its as you said thou, one in a millions incidences where most likely something is misunderstood or time is non-existent that occurrences between Fans and their idols leave unwanted results…
No one ever really goes into “news” stories about positive things… You don’t read dirt sheets to hear “Vince gives everyone a Christmas bonus this year” or “Kane stops to take a picture with toddler in shopping centre.”

I’m surprised more of this shit doesn’t pop up if hes meant to be “such a selfish egotistical prick” as former wrestlers seem to label him.
Or it could be your all a bunch of jealous has bins.

Look at the way that fan writes. He is obviously either very young or not the most mature person out there, so would take this comment with a pinch of salt. Everyone has an axe to grind these days it seems, or are pushy twats who get all butt hurt when celebrities dont pander to them.
But of course, everyone who is anti-Punk will jump on it like flies on shit. What people forget is that the most vocal people are the negatives (in anything in life) and all the good someone does is overlooked.
If John Cena has a bad day, people will report he is a horrible bastard as well.
Its the way fame works, get over it.

Bob Holly was a dick to my buddy at a show many years ago. He has no room to talk.

I don’t know how much of that is truth and how much is fiction but I will say one thing–Bob Holly has earned a ton of respect over the course of his career and it would be foolish not to listen to him.

Another story about Punk crying and complaining, sad that a grown man cant let some people take a picture of him.

Punk seems to take himself far too seriously. Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s trying to mask his insecurities.
