Dean Ambrose was in the middle of an intense feud when he was injured in December, forcing his tag team partner Seth Rollins to take Jason Jordan under his wing. Ambrose suffered a high-grade triceps injury and was expected to be out of action for up to nine months.
PWInsider reported earlier today that Dean Ambrose will be heading to Birmingham, Alabama this week to get checked out by WWE doctors. While the Lunatic Fringe won’t be cleared in time to appear on the Grandest Stage of Them All, word backstage is that Ambrose could be returning sooner than expected.
We’ll keep you updated on Ambrose’s situation as more details come out.
