WWE’s backstage area has many WWE veterans who help out younger superstars and show them the right path. Dean Malenko worked backstage as a producer for 8 years with the company, but it seems his time with the company is over.
Sports Illustrated reports that Dean Malenko has left WWE. No further details have been provided as of yet. Pro Wrestling Sheet was able to confirm Malenko’s departure with their own sources as well, so Malenko really has left the company.
Sports Illustrated also implied that Malenko would be a great help to AEW in a backstage role. So we will get to know in due time what Malenko does.
