Details on Alex Riley’s Injury, More Notes from WWE Developmental

– WWE’s FCW has seen four straight shows sell-out at the FCW Arena in Tampa, Florida. Fans have been turned away at the door.

 


 

– Indy wrestler Bill Carr made his WWE developmental debut in a dark match at this week’s FCW TV tapings, losing to Wes Brisco. Carr has worked for FTW Wrestling in New York.

– NXT Rookie Alex Riley suffered an injury at this week’s FCW tapings during a 15 minute challenge match for his FCW Title against Kaval. Riley hit the back of his head on the guardrail after taking kicks from Kaval. Riley laid on the floor for a few minutes. The referee saw that blood was pouring out of the back of Riley’s head and the match was stopped.

Officials came out and helped a visibly dazed Riley to the back. FCW President Steve Keirn came out and announced that Riley had a severe wound on the back of his head and the match was declared a no contest. Keirn said the match will be scheduled for a future date. The first few minutes following the injury were said to be chaotic in the FCW Arena with everyone worrying about the heel Riley.
