New Details and Trailer for WWE’s Brawl Video Game

– A trailer has been released online for a new WWE video game called WWE Brawl. The game is reportedly scheduled for release in 2012. As you can see, it features character similar to WWE Superstars like John Cena and The Undertaker.

WWE filed for a “WWE Brawl” trademark back in early 2010. WWE is calling this game one of their most ambitious yet. It has a theme of no ring and no rules. It’s going to be “WWE Superstars turned up real loud.” The game will feature storylines and various modes. Details on the game were revealed earlier this year at WWE’s business partner summit.

The game will have spin-offs of a new WWE animated series, Mattel toys and other products.

Here’s the trailer:

god, did Vince Mcmahon look at this game and said: WOW! THIS GAME IS GONNA BRING IN MILLIONS, maybe he should threaten the makers of this game and said; IF IT SUCKS YOU”RE FIRRRED!!! I’m pretty sure it would of never seen the light of day, oh yeah, for the people who made this game, YOU”RE FIRED!!!!!

    What? The? Hell?!

  • SpudimusPrime89

It looks like a mix of WWE and Dragonball Z, and it looks horrible

  • The Irish Bulldog

    Hmmm….nope not a fan

So it is a wwe game with no actual WWE wrestlers in it?That is stupid!!!I like what damn123 said it makes since, but if they make it for the kids it would need to have the WWE wrestlers in it for it to sell.My 8 yr old would love a game like this if it had the actual wrestlers in it, but with no actual wrestlers he won’t even add it to his gamefly queue lol.I am seeing a definate bomb on this one.

Of course, CENA is the one a character will resemble in the game. Gotta have him or it’s no deal, right kiddies? F*cking pathetic.

  • Bill

@rko & mike ox, I’m third on that one. Looks pretty stupid, & I most likely WON’t be getting it.

  • Statix

    Debut of Silent Rage? lawl

I’ll stick to Mortal Kombat… Especially after playing All Stars, which I thought was absolutely horrible. I’d rather not even bother renting this time after that major clusterf#ck.

  • ejjigga

Reminds me of the Def Jam series.

    @ rko

    Exactly what I was thinking

  • rko

This is WCW backstage assault all over again.

  • CiB

What the fucking fuckety fuck is this fucking shit!?

  • damn123

so its pretty much street fighter and mortal kombat but with wwe superstars instead. not a bad idea i guess. if its like 40 or 50 bucks its a great deal but 60 is gonna be over priced for a wanna be fighter game like one of those big series.

I kinda dig the idea of having two very distinct video game franchises. If WWE’12 lives up to the hype of being a more grounded simulator then I think brawl will offer the Wii crowd a much needed fun time.
