Dixie Carter Strips AJ Styles of the World Title, Bully Ray vs. Rampage In a MMA Fight?, More

– TNA has removed Hulk Hogan and AJ Styles from their roster page. Mr. Anderson, who returned on Thursday’s Impact Wrestling, has been added. The TNA World Heavyweight Title has also been declared vacant. TNA posted this video of Dixie Carter talking about AJ and the title:

– Bully Ray has been tweeting about wanting to fight Rampage Jackson on Bellator’s November 2nd event. With Tito Ortiz being pulled due to injury, the event is being taken off pay-per-view and will be shown for free on Spike. Word going around TNA is that Ray isn’t just trying to get publicity, he’s serious about stepping into the MMA ring with Rampage.

Bully would be happy to take a loss on Bellator against a Legend like Rampage Jackson; just as Scott “Bam Bam” Bigelow took a beating by Kimo Leopoldo. That doesn’t mean he is prepared for it though.

He would have mere days to train, get into “MMA Shape”, work a holistic game incorporating Boxing, Kickboxing, Judo, BJJ, and Wrestling; all the while developing a strategy.

As for a punchers chance fallacy: Even if Bully “could” throw a punch that could/would ko Rampage, we can evaluate Rampage vs Glover Texiera and Rampage vs Prime Shogun Rua in Pride. Rampage can take a serious beating, and big punches. Probably more than Bully could bring him.

Are you insane? Rampage isn’t just some bloke. He would absolutely MURDER bully ray, especially considering Ray has had health problems, cuts over his eye that would break open in one punch, and mere days, DAYS to set up a training camp and learn how to protect himself.

I am not saying this to disrespect Bully Ray.

Now, Bader was on the rise with a big hype train coming off some good wins, but was kind of untested on terms of chin. He was aggressive so he wasn’t seen “on defense” much.

Tito was expected to show up fat, and half-himself. Because of this, people expected Tito would fall to Bader, which is natural; I guess Tito is less of a Ken Shamrock and more of a Dan Henderson; he will be bad—– until he retires.

That’s the same thing everybody said about Tito Ortiz when he fought Ryan Bader…. And Bader got rocked

  • Greg

In some cases yes. Not this one. Ranpage would destroy bully ray

It’s MMA man, you never know who’s gonna win. I’ve seen many many any guys that should have lost win.

Do you know who he is ? LOL. I agree BR probably wouldn’t stand a chance against Rampage. However I could see BR doing MMA stuff in the future.

…… Bully does know that bellator isn’t scripted right and rampage is a legitamite badass and will break ray in half
