Dolph Ziggler Reportedly Livid With Sin Cara Following WWE Money in the Bank

Dolph Ziggler was reportedly livid with Sin Cara following Sunday’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match for a World Heavyweight Championship Contract at Money in the Bank.

According to, a source within WWE says Ziggler vocally complained backstage over the SmackDown Superstar working stiffly and failing to protect him during a high risk maneuver off the top turnbuckle known as The Spanish Fly.

The errant spot nearly injured Ziggler, not to mention spurred a dubious Twitter trending topic—”Botch Cara.”

According to the source, Ziggler plans to file a formal complaint to WWE officers over Sin Cara so they can review the case further and decide whether the the high-flying grappler faces punishment.

In Sin Cara’s defense, footage indicates that Ziggler caused the spot to fail by slipping twice on the rope. Wrestling Observer editor Dave Meltzer stated Friday, “Ziggler slipped halfway through the move when Sin Cara’s back was already bent far enough he could do nothing but fall. It’s only Sin Cara’s fault if he had ESP and would have known Ziggler was about to slip.”

@grizz Shut the Fuck up. You are a moron and are very ignorant when it comes to Wrestling. You think everyone has to be 250 pounds like its 2012 not 1987 get the fuck outta here.

  • grizz

WWE should fire Sin Cara and Rey. They are both jokes, WWE does not have a midgets division.

  • Damien Phoenix

It was Zigglers fault though, but since people hate Sin Cara, he’s gonna get blamed anyway -_-

  • shorty

get over it dolph ziggler its not all about you
    calm down

@”Bad Man” Bigelow … Chavo did not lose his job, and it had nothing to do with Sin Cara. He asked for his release as he felt WWE have been underutilising him for years.

    @tombstone it’s not just you

  • Tombstone

Is it just me or does anyone else her think Nick Kid wants to give Tyson Kid a rim job?

  • Nick Kidd

Doesn’t matter Tyson Kidd stole the show!!

  • False Idol

As I have said in previous posts..Ziggler thinks way to much of himself. Don’t get me wrong, he’s good but not infallible, like I think he thinks he is!

  • were we heard this be 4 remember the mr kennedy vs orton match oh yea mr anderson now and you you know were he’s at with the other’s botched

  • What a stupid move to file a report on cara despite footage of ziggler slipping. He just trying to be a complainer like randy orton and john cena. He should man up and realize this is his fault.

  • Bill

I really hope neither of them get released or anything. Botches happen in wrestling all the time, & luckily, no one was hurt this time. Ziggler slipped, yes, but they both took the risk.

  • rko

Have a big pile of STFU Ziggler.

  • Angry Dude

Yeah it was zigglers fault but he takes the easy way and blames cara since cara has already botched a couple of moves. This time Sin cara did nothing wrong, ziggler slipped….

  • Jon-Jon

Sin Cara’s style is NEVER going to work in the states..

  • yofits

THE WORLD only has one question:

    why is sin cara red?

  • 1919dpg

mexican lucha libre has degenrated into garbage over the last decade. they have completely forgot how to wrestle and focus exclusively on spot after spot after spot.

vets like hijo del santo hate it nowadays.

  • Misfit del rio

You can tell it was Dolph’s fault. And Sin Cara actually tried his best to salvage the spot.

  • 1919dpg

it doesn’t matter if this time it was zigglers fault. sin cara is a train reck in the ring.

    the human botch machine.

  • cheesehandler

wheres the 424534 posts bashing cara? lol

  • “Bad Man” Bigelow

The last time Sin Cara botched that move on a PPV, Chavo got the blame and lost his job.

“Oh and this line; “It’s only Sin Cara’s fault if he had ESP and would have known Ziggler was about to slip.”

Thank you for informing us of that Sin Cara doesn’t have ESP. If Sin had the power to go back at the time, he’d able to re-do his botches, but he can’t do that either.

    Fortunately nobody was seriously injured.
