The Sinister Scotsman has been out of action since November when Drew McIntyre lost his NXT Championship to Andrade “Cien” Almas. McIntyre tore his biceps near the end of the match and has been absent since NXT TakeOver: WarGames.
Reports have come up recently revolving around the former champion’s return status. While he has gotten back in the ring at the Performance Center, there has been no official word on when he could be making his return.
However, McIntyre did send out an interesting tweet on Sunday.

Hopefully, Drew can get back to NXT soon. Though, I’m kind of surprised he’s not heading directly to the main roster.
