– Jim Ross spoke with ChicagoNow.com about his one-man event in Chicago this weekend and mentioned there are no plans for CM Punk to appear as a special guest. Ross said:
“There are no plans for CM Punk to be at my show but stranger things have happened. I honestly don’t know but he knows how I think of him. I hold him as high regard as a performer and more importantly as a man.”

– Early betting odds have been released for Sunday’s WWE Payback pay-per-view and they have El Torito over Hornswoggle, Sheamus a slight favorite over Cesaro, Bad News Barrett the favorite over Rob Van Dam, John Cena the slight favorite over Bray Wyatt and Paige over Alicia Fox. The Shield and Evolution have been going back and forth over who’s the favorite to win their match but as of this writing, Evolution is the favorite.
