EC3 had a successful run with TNA/Impact Wrestling and he looks to be all set for a great career in the WWE’s development territory NXT where he is set to challenge for the NXT title soon.
However, he had another run with the company which ended in 2013 and it wasn’t as successful. During a recent interview E&C’s Pod Of Awesomeness podcast, the NXT Star revealed the possible reason behind his firing from the company back then.
He talked about his complacent attitude back then and the former Impact World Champion admitted that it was probably the reason why he got released:
 ‘Yeah buts’ are probably what got me fired in the first place. There was a sense of complacency. There was a sense of ‘yeah, but, like, you know, I’m not going to get this shot because of this’. And then, yeah, you know what? You get fired”
Apart from this, EC3 also discussed the hardest part of getting fired from WWE, adjusting after his release from the company and returning to independent wrestling and more.
