ECW on SyFy Report – January 26th, 2010
Report by Richard Trionfo, PWInsider

We are live on tape from Cincinnati, Ohio and your announcers are Byron ‘Venus Fly Trap’ Saxton and Josh ‘Andy Travis’ Mathews.

William Regal is in the ring and he says that it is his honor and the fan’s privilege to introduce the next ECW Champion, Ezekiel Jackson.

We see footage from last week when Jackson attacked Christian during Christian’s match against William Regal. We then see the post match attack by Regal and Jackson.

Jackson tells Christian that he only has five days left. They left last week with Christian laying sprawled at his feet. That image will repeat itself on Sunday. As Christian drifts in and out of consciousness, he will hear ‘Your winner and new ECW Champion . . . Ezekiel Jackson.’ He tells Christian that the end has come and it has awakened against him.

Christian’s music plays and he comes out and he is looking for something in the crowd. Christian tells Zeke that if he likes biblical quotes, so does he because his name is Christian. He says that Zeke quoted something from the Book of Ezekiel. Christian says ‘I will strike down on those with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is Captain Charisma. When I lay my vengeance upon thee.’

Zeke tells Christian that he hasn’t faced anyone like him. Christian says that he is a two time ECW champion and he has defended his title against All American Americans, ECW originals, and pale British guys. He knows that Zeke is one of the biggest freaks of nature but Christian says that he is going to look forward to facing him next week. Christian points out that Zeke failed to mention that it was a two-on-one beat down. Christian says that he has equaled the score and out comes Christian’s tag team opponent and it is Kane.

We go to commercial.
