It will be a pair of former champion’s meeting up at UFC 128 as former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber and Eddie Wineland have agreed to meet in a bantamweight fight on the March 19th fight card in New Jersey.
Though contracts have yet to be signed, verbal agreements are in place for the bantemweight bout, which would likely hold a prime spot on the event’s main pay-per-view card.
Both contenders are coming off wins heading into the upcoming pay-per-view bout and could put themselves into contention for a shot at the bantemweight championship against Dominick Cruz with a win.
