Elias discusses his upcoming 6-man tag match against The Undertaker at Madison Square Garden

While Elias hasn’t held a title since joining the WWE, the Troubadour has definitely been involved in quite a few high profile matches. From Roman Reigns to Finn Balor to, most recently, Seth Rollins, Elias has built up quite a list of impressive opponents.

It seems he’ll be adding to that this weekend, as he’s set to take on The Undertaker when the two participate in a 6-man tag. Elias will team with Kevin Owens and Baron Corbin while the Deadman will align himself with Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman.

The Drifter spoke with The New York Post about the match, and his thoughts on facing the Phenom.

I said, ‘that’s the perfect matchup.’ I would have preferred if it was a one-on-one, but that would probably happen somewhere down the line. This will be the first-ever meeting of The Deadman and The Living Truth.

When asked about the probability of taking a Tombstone, Elias claimed that, while it’s on his wrestling bucket list, he’s more excited about insulting the Deadman at MSG.

Yeah, it’s always something you can say down the line, but I think it will be more noteworthy to say, ‘You know what, I sold out Madison Square Garden and sang a song that insulted The Undertaker right before he came out.’
