As noted, Emma was injured in her match with Asuka at the NXT live event in Cleveland, OH at the Agora Theatre on Friday night. The match was stopped when Asuka kicked Emma in the throat. The referee put up the “X” sign immediately. Emma was helped to the back.
In an update, Emma was hurt by the kick, but not badly. She wanted to finish the match, but the referee stopped the match for safety concerns. She wrestled Bayley at Saturday’s NXT live event.
