Enzo Amore releases statement on rape accusations

As we noted before, WWE suspended and then fired former Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore after being accused of rape by a twitter user @missguciwitch.

 


 

When the news became viral, TMZ identified the alleged victim as Philomena Sheahan who gave them the permission to share her name and show her face in media.

After this, they published the following video in which the victim shares graphic details of the incident which took place back in October 2017 at a hotel in Phoenix, Arizona:

Meanwhile, Amore broke his silence earlier today and released the following statement from his Twitter account, denying all the accusations:

STATEMENT FROM COUNSEL FOR ERIC ARNDT

Over the last two days, Philomena Sheahan has made multiple public accusations against Eric Arndt (also known as Enzo Amore with the WWE), including allegations of sexual misconduct concerning an October 2017 incident in Phoenix. Mr. Arndt fully and unequivocally denies those accusations. He is cooperating with the authorities in this matter and looks forward to having it resolved in a timely manner. Neither Mr. Arndt nor his counsel will be making any further public comments on this matter.
