Scott Hall’s struggles with alcoholism and drug addiction will be profiled on next Wednesday’s episode of E:60 on ESPN. A preview clip has been released featuring comments from Eric Bischoff.

The Wrestler – Scott Hall

At the height of professional wrestling in the 90’s, Scott Hall was adored by millions, his name chanted by loyal fans. Today, he has hit rock bottom. E:60 follows his descent from superstar to a broken man battling alcoholism and drug addiction, but still trying to hold onto the glory he once found in the ring.

Fatt Hardy was getting worse than Hall.

@ jipc could scott be self medicating to cope with the trauma of his childhood

  • Christian

Scott Hall was my favorite wrestler until Stone Cold came along but regardless he is in the top two. The decisions he made might not have been the best ones but I hope he finds the help he needs. It would be great to see him back in the WWF with a nWo/Outsiders type of run-in with Nash. Of course, HHH will be orchestrating the whole thing now to get Johnny Ace out as GM. Vinnie will play the Bishop role.

@ adam not cool mate not cool

  • Sammo

It sounds eerily similar to a synopsis of the film “The Wrestler”.

  • Tom… Just Tom

It is so sad to see this. He was a top star and now, he can’t stay sober. He was a favorite of mine for years. What was sadi is true though. He can have all the moral support of his friends. But he has to help himself first!!

  • JipC

What did Eric say that was so wrong? Even Kevin Nash said Scott Hall was abused as a child and thus traumatized from it well before he got into wrestling

  • Raziel

I remember when he came back to TNA and was a lot skinnier and sober and week after week you could just see him falling off the wagon again. Damn shame.

  • Freakzilla

Scott Hall was one of my favorite wrestlers as a kid both as Razor then as himself in the nWo. However I hate to say this if he was a dog he’d have been put down now. I don’t think he can ever be saved. The opportunities he’s had, the friends around him and the prayers from the fans and yet the penny hasn’t dropped. I hope he turns it around but I won’t be holding my breath.

DIE BITCHOFF DIE you classless, talentless, fuck.

  • mike

Watching Eric Bischoff at the end really, makes me hate that piece of shit. Rather than say we need to help Scott he says its all Scotts’ fault. I hope Eric Bischoff is gang raped by pack of wild gorillas, insert Mel Gibson here he is a true piece of shit.

    @Adam, Why don’t you?

  • Adam

    Scott Hall – Please die.

  • D2K

Having enablers doesn’t help any. There was no logical or useful purpose for Scott Hall to go from behind the curtain in a state like that. There is no way I would have let him come out there like that.

  • rko

I love scott hall, but he has to help himself first and foremost. I wish him luck. He’s always been one of my favorites. Far better in the ring than his buddy Kevin Nash. Good luck Chico. Get well.

watching this vid reminds me of a mate of mines father when i was a kid i loved that man as a father but he had his demons & he died from them i guess seeing scott barely walking out annebriated just brought up memories i thought i’d buried years ago.

  • voice of reason

have to agree there breezy i think he still craves the adulation of the fans to be honest if he cleaned himself up & headed to tna or the wwe he’d still have fans chanting his name

  • breezy

he has to help himself before anyone else will be able to.

  • voice of reason

i’ve been called many nasty names here but it has never affected me like seeing this vid, scott hall was a hero of mine as a kid but to see this fucking hell he’s not even a shell of a man anymore i pray to god the wwe gets him some rehab he most definately needs someone in his corner in life i just don’t want to log onto wrestling edge & read “scott hall is dead” sorry guys this has just really got to me, it’s just heart breaking really well & truly heart breaking to see a hero of mine fall so harshly.

i hope he gets the help he needs but i feel it may be too late.

  • Superman

It’s sad to see such a great wrestler and entertainer fall so far hope he can get the help he needs get him to come back with Nash Have The Outsiders back

  • venom

At least he is still alive. I thought he would have been dead by now.
