- The Extreme Rising promotion has canceled all three of their events scheduled for Philadelphia and Staten Island during WrestleMania 29 weekend.
Talents were called last night and informed of the cancellations. The reason given was that the advance ticket sales were weak. Talents were told that Extreme Rising will continue.
There had been some concern about going forward with the WrestleMania weekend shows last week but Shane Douglas was adamant to the other partners involved that the shows take place. Douglas felt his name was attached to the events and he would take the hit if they were canceled.
