After making an appearance at the Crown Jewel PPV, Hulk Hogan made his comeback to the weekly WWE programming during this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
Before Hogan’s return to the show, WWE decided to promote his return and plug in some merchandise, a move that seemingly backfired on the company.
WWE shop’s official Twitter account made the following tweet before yesterday’s episode of the Red Branded Show, asking fans to get their Hogan gear before his appearance:

Listen. We know he made you a lot of money. We know he's a big part of the history of pro-wrestling, and we don't begrudge him being in the hall of fame. But it's 2019 and we don't mark out for racists anymore, so put him in history where he belongs and focus on the FUTURE!
