A number of more matches were made official for Battleground during yesterday night’s SmackDown Live including a Fatal Five Way #1 contender’s Elimination match and the US Championship match as well. You can check out the complete SmackDown results here.
First, it was announced that after the shocking championship victory of AJ Styles at a recent Live Event, Kevin Owens will get the rematch for United States title at Battleground PPV.
Also, after the scheduled match between Shinsuke Nakamura vs Baron Corbin ended up in a brawl before it could even officially began, Commissioner Shane McMahon announced that the two will face each other at the upcoming SmackDown Exclusive PPV.
Finally, in a backstage segment, Shane revealed that there would be a fatal five-way elimination match among Charlotte Flair, Lana, Becky Lynch, Tamina Snuka and Natalya at the PPV to determine Naomi’s opponent for SummerSlam
