– Seth Rollins and Richie Steamboat defeated Titus O’Neill and Damien Sandow at Friday night’s FCW show at the Miami-Dade County Fair to become the new FCW Tag Team Champions. After the match, Titus turned face and broke up with Sandow. WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat celebrated in the ring with his son and Rollins, the former Tyler Black.
Former Nexus members were also in action on the show as Mason Ryan won a battle royal that came down to him and NXT winner Johnny Curtis. Michael McGillicutty and Husky Harris also performed, competing in a fatal four-way match with Bo Rotunda and Brett DiBiase, which DiBiase won. Alberto Del Rio, Ricardo Rodriguez, Brodus Clay, Rollins and The Steamboats all signed autographs before the show.
– Wade Barrett wrote the following on Twitter last night after winning the Intercontinental Championship on SmackDown: “I pledge to you all that I will defend the IC Title with the class and dignity that you have come to expect from Wade Barrett.”
