Last week it was revealed that one half of the Impact Tag Team Champions, Fenix, had been injured during a match at an AAW event. After connecting with a cutter, he had a difficult time getting up and felt a weird sensation in his extremities.
He was taken out of the ring by stretcher, and though it seemed serious, it was believed that he’d simply suffered a stinger and would just need a little bit of time to recover. That seems to be the case, as PWInsider revealed that Fenix will be participating at the Impact Wrestling tapings in Las Vegas tonight.
The Lucha Bros will defend their titles against the former champions LAX in a rematch soon, as revealed by Konnan on last night’s episode of Impact. Fenix will also be in action at All Elite Wrestling’s first event Double or Nothing later this year, facing off against The Young Bucks.
