Foley and Styles Comment on Ryder’s Bump from RAW, WWE Returning to Japan, Tapings

– WWE has announced they will return to Japan for SmackDown live events in Ryogoku on April 9th and 10th. This will be the first SmackDown tour of Japan in three years.

– Both Joey Styles and Mick Foley expressed concern for Zack Ryder after his stage bump on last night’s RAW Supershow. They wrote:

Styles: “That was one the worst falls I have ever seen and that includes Original ECW. Can someone in San Diego get us an update on @ZackRyder? #Raw”

Foley: “Wow, sincerely hope @ZackRyder is going to be ok. – that looked like a nasty landing. Ankles, knees, spine all looked to be in jeopardy.”

“Yeah, @Joeystyles I’m legit concerned for @zackryder. There’s just way too much risk there. That fall off the ramp might not be something you can get through with fortitude and ice packs. Zack has such a bright future; I hate to see his knees, ankles and spine at such risk. That’s the type of thing that could cost him weeks or months at the most vital time of his career.”

– WWE will tape this week’s WWE NXT, and this week’s SmackDown tonight from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton is scheduled for SmackDown, and two dark match main events advertised are Daniel Bryan vs. Big Show for the World Heavyweight Championship and Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett in a Street Fight.
