Will Foley Wrestle Again?, No Plans to Bring Back Guerrero, More

– The October 22nd WWE RAW had 337,000 homes watching on DVR or tape delay. The October 29th RAW had 241,000 homes watching on DVR or tape delay.

– As of now, there are no plans to bring Raquel Diaz (Shaul Guerrero) back to WWE developmental.

– We noted earlier this week that Mick Foley shot down rumors of him wrestling CM Punk. The Wrestling Observer reports that Foley’s career is considered over. There had been talk of him wrestling another match internally but it sounds like we may never see Foley in a WWE ring again.

I agree with Sammo. Maybe Foley should try doing DDP Yoga (if he isn’t already) and see where that gets him.

@Dave- I don’t doubt that Foley could probably have a good feud despite his physical condition, hell I doubt there were many times in his entire career where he wasn’t banged up. I just don’t see any circumstance where they’d need to call on Foley to have a feud to legitimise a superstar.

If Foley could wrestle, he obviously would’ve been in the 5 v 5 Survivor Series match last week. That would’ve been the perfect way to mask his limitations.

  • Dave

    I don’t know.
We all thought Foley was too banged up to have a good feud with Randy Orton, or teaming up with Edge. But he managed it.
In no way do I want to see Mick risk his health. But if done right. Probably as a tag team match where his partner can play the babyface in peril, so Mick doesn’t have to carry too much of the ring time. I could see him giving a big boost to one more rising star.
And the ideal candidate to get an outing with Foley would be Dolph Ziggler.

Good. Foley is visibly banged up, he had a bad limp just walking to ringside. He’s put his body and health on the line more than enough times for WWE and the fans.

  • Sammo

You only have to look at the way that Foley struggles to even climb into the ring to realise he’ll never be able to wrestle another match.
