Gallows Says Creative Plans Were Discussed For Him On The Day Of His Release

– In an interview with Slam Wrestling, Luke Gallows revealed that he was discussing plans for his character with WWE creative on Friday morning before finding out he was released in the afternoon.

Gallows says he was shocked at how things panned out considering WWE was scheduled to debut his new babyface character next week on television.

“I’ve not gotten to really break out, I’ve not gotten any good mic time,” Gallows told Slam Wrestling. “I think that if I do that, and I present myself as a character that people can sink their teeth into, there’s no reason that I can’t be right back in the mainstream and on national television, in the next six months or a year.”

Gallows also said he had been working on a new “Roughneck” babyface character with Freddy Prinze, Jr. which he thought WWE management was happy with.

“The agents always acted like they were into it. The creative people, I don’t know if it was a Vince (McMahon) thing or Johnny (Laurinaitis) not to go for it,” he said.
