Former WWE Women’s Champion Victoria retiring in 2019

Lisa Marie Varon, better known to the wrestling world as WWE’s Victoria and TNA/Impact Wrestling’s Tara, announced on Instagram today that she was going to retire from in-ring competition by the end of 2019.

In her post, the former champion stated that she’ll be wrapping up her career this year, but told fans to expect an “exciting new adventure” soon.

Victoria had an incredible career, with some great rivalries against the likes of Trish Stratus, Lita, Molly Holly, and Gail Kim. During her time in the WWE, she was even featured in the first ever women’s steel cage match for the promotion, defeating Lita in the process.

Victoria is a two-time WWE Women’s Champion, a five-time TNA Knockouts Champion, and a one-time TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion with Brooke Tessmacher.

I was gonna say the same. In fact I thought she was retired right now.

Am I mistaken but I think I have seen her retire twice before.
