Fox plans on changing Smackdown announce team

WWE is moving Smackdown Live to Fox in October. The show will air on Fridays from October and Fox’s current plan for Smackdown Live is ”short term”, and this might not be the only change.

Rajah reports that Fox might do away with WWE’s current three-person announce team. According to the report, Fox wants WWE to start presenting a two-person announce team instead.

Smackdown Live is currently announced by Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton, and Corey Graves. With Corey Graves already working on RAW, he can easily be removed from Smackdown Live. It is a wonder how Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton will do as the announce team.

We will keep you updated as we get to know more regarding Smackdown’s move to FOX in October.
